The Norway Permanent Mission to the United Nations announced a Roundtable Meeting on Developing a Model for Investigative Interviewing by Law Enforcement Officials and Attendant Procedural Safeguards, where Mark Fallon was one of the presenters.
Peter Bergen moderated a panel discussion with Dr Melissa Russano, Dr. Christian Meissner, Colonel Steven Kleinman, USAF-retired and Mark focusing on abusive tactics, the efficacy of interrogation methods and whether or not abusive tactics were necessary to elicit intelligence. Panelists discussed the efficacy of ethical, science-based methods that treat detainees with respect and elicit accurate and reliable information.
Reed College Public Policy Lecture Series hosted a panel discussion on Questioning High-Value Suspects: Confronting Torture and Advancing Effective Interrogation. Joshua Philips moderated the panel with Dr. Christian Meissner, Colonel Steven Kleinman, USAF-retired and Mark.
